About Me
I have a combination of experience as a creative writer and journalist. Since I graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's degree in English, I’ve had three years of professional writing experience freelancing for companies across multiple industries from healthcare to marketing and entertainment.
Fiction:

I've been working on my own individual creative writing projects for the past ten years. At the University of Delaware, I was a member of the Ese'Eja Graphic Novel Project, an education initiative and cultural preservation project. I wrote two comic books for a graphic novel based on the oral legends and mythology of the Ese'Eja nation, an Amazonian indigenous group from Peru. The graphic novel will be used to teach reading in educational facilities in Peru.

One of my short stories, The Pocket Watch, was published in the 2015 edition of Caesura, the University of Delaware's literary journal. I also completed a creative writing undergraduate senior thesis about the Ese'Eja nation's culture and mythology entitled, The Ese'Eja Worldview: An Amazonian Mythology Adapted into a Novel.

Journalism:
I interned for the communications agency iConcept Media Group, gaining experience as a writer and editor. Producing articles for their various online platforms on topics such entertainment, sports, technology,
gaming, and fashion news, I’m an adaptable researcher and capable of writing on any topic. Other than my editing and writing duties, I was also responsible for managing one of their social media accounts and was selected for a special task force that completed research for their nonprofit sector.
I've been published on many online platforms in the entertainment industry, including Heroic Hollywood, ScreenGeek.net, and Best Little Sites. I recently worked as a freelance copywriter for Marketing Insider Group, producing articles for clients in the marketing and healthcare industries. I’m capable of meeting tight deadlines, writing quickly and cleanly, and will work until I’ve completed an exemplary final product that suits the client’s needs.

Conducted interviews with Lili Oller, the owner and founder of the Bethany Beach boutique, Water Lili, to produce personal and informative newsletters that expanded the business' omni-channel marketing strategy.
MAY/ JUNE 2019
Freelance Copywriter for Marketing Insider Group. Wrote blog posts for two clients, an event management company and a leading healthcare company.
AUG/ NOV 2017
Editing and Writing intern at New York based marketing and communications agency iConcept Media Group. Contributed to their online platforms as an editor and writer, managed social media account, and conducted research for their nonprofit sector.
